From a tumultuous upbringing, Desmond found himself settling into a life of crime. After unexpectedly finding himself a father, he resolved to extricate himself from his situation, retiring to the countryside of Karelia. However, his past caught up to him--this time, his employer was a fallen angel, and his wage was a stay of execution, for he was terminally ill and doomed to die, leaving his daughter destitute and alone.
Desmond served as the Hound of Azazel from 2024 to 2030, until he succumbed to terminal cancer during a lapse of his mantle's protection. He is survived by his daughter Svetlana.
